The only meaningful return on investment should be measured by (a) the recruitment of new customers and/or (b) the sale of additional products to existing customers. These are the key factors that will lead to increased growth, profitability and valuation.

Many new clients come to me because they are spending money on sales and marketing programs but not seeing them bring in more revenue or customers. I help them reevaluate their business so they are investing their sales efforts to best effect and greatest return.
